Hi, I’m Michael, founder of Mioscoupon. Technology has been with me since I was young—from the first programs I typed myself to digital platforms for real business models. With Mioscoupon we’ve built a solution that helps online shops and agencies make coupons, deals and campaigns visible—affordable, plannable, and without unnecessary barriers.

Our roots

Over 30 years of code & SEO

My path—and later our team’s—started long before the AI age: code typed in from magazines, pixel games up and running, technology as a passion, not a job title. The web brought our own projects; we focused on affiliate marketing early. It was clear fast: even the best solution is useless without visibility. So we went deep on SEO—back when “reach” still meant researching and writing post after post by hand.

2013

Entering coupon marketing

Because coupons deliver real, measurable value for advertisers, publishers and end customers, we went all-in on that space from 2013. Our first own portal was sparwat.de—it grew fast. With a team of ten we measured ourselves against the market every day. That was followed by more high-reach platforms like geizfuchs.com, halber-preis24.de and gutschein-monster.de—the same line I build on with Mioscoupon today: measurable reach, not empty promises.

The margin problem

when percentage fees demand too much

As publishers we saw in practice how hard that hits many merchants: some products simply aren’t margin-strong enough to carry network fees and percentage affiliate takes long term. Smaller shops and startups could rarely make their campaigns visible in an affordable way—networks, agencies, technical barriers. We wanted to change that.
